WHO are we?

The Alberta Avenue Business Association (AABA) is a non-profit corporation established in 1995 by business owners from the area and the Edmonton's City Council. Operating as a Business Improvement Area (BIA) and primarily funded through membership levies, AABA seeks to help businesses thrive by amplifying the district through strategic promotion, strengthening the local commercial variety, and advancing initiatives that make Alberta Avenue a safer, more attractive, and more connected place to do business. AABA also acts as a bridge between businesses, the City of Edmonton, and community partners within Alberta Avenue and beyond.

Alberta Avenue will become the most exciting and diverse shopping, dining and entertainment district in Edmonton.

Our purpose is to elevate the business community through support and collaboration and to position the District as a destination through development and extraordinary experiences.
