Nominations are now open for our 2026 Board of Directors.

The Nomination Committee has opened applications from August 11, 2024, to noon (12:00 pm) on October 20, 2025.. This is a change from previous years, where nominations were open until the AGM.

Requires a minimum time commitment of 18 meetings per year, averaging 2 hours per meeting, and a 2-day board retreat.

We Believe in 118 is a community coalition consisting of the Alberta Avenue Business Association, eight 118 Avenue business owners, Arts on the Ave, The Edmonton EXPO Centre, the Avenue Revitalization Initiative, the Neighbourhood Empowerment Team and the Edmonton Police Service – all committed to working together towards a safer community.
