Proposed 2026 Budget

Alberta Avenue Business Improvement Area

1. The purpose of this notice is to advise all businesses located within the boundaries of the Alberta Avenue Business Improvement Area (Alberta Avenue BIA - see map below) that Executive Committee will consider the enclosed proposed 2026 budget of the Alberta Avenue BIA on Wednesday, December 8, 2025, in the Council Chambers, Edmonton City Hall, 1 Sir Winston Churchill Square, Edmonton, Alberta.

2. If you have any questions about the proposed budget, please contact Erick Estrada, Executive Director of Alberta Avenue BIA at 780-807-2187.

3. Written submissions regarding this budget may be submitted to the Office of the City Clerk, 3rd Floor, City Hall, 1 Sir Winston Churchill Square, Edmonton, AB T5J 2R7. Submissions may also be submitted by email at city.clerk@edmonton.ca. Submissions should be made at least one day before December 8, 2025, with a copy to Erick Estrada, Executive Director, Alberta Avenue BIA, 11739 88 Street NW Edmonton AB T5B 3R6.

Important Note: In case you choose to submit through regular postal services, please make sure to allow enough time (at least a week in advance) for the mail to reach the Office of the City Clerk. All email submissions should be received at least one day in advance.

4. A Public Hearing on the Alberta Avenue BIA Budget is not required. However, City Council may choose to hear delegations at the Executive Committee meeting on Wednesday, December 8, 2025. Any person who wishes to appear before Council is requested to advise the Office of the City Clerk, Council Agenda Secretary, at least one day before the meeting so that Council may give consideration to such requests.
