The second round of Eats on 118 is back August 29 featuring four delicious destinations. Two stops are tour favourites and two are new to the Avenue - all four are owned and operated by female entrepreneurs! Wild Heart Collective will be your hostess with the mostest, and lead you down the Avenue for a culinary Tour de Force!
Mama Asha Cafe
First stop - you'll head to Mama Asha Cafe. This is the second time the Somali Restaurant will join the tour. Sharon from Only Here For the Food loved Mama Asha when she tried it for the first time last fall on the 2017 Eats on 118.
Simba's Den Pub & Bistro
Next stop is a new tour destination and the new kid on the block, Simba's Den Pub & Bistro. Simba's Den just opened in May, and we're thrilled they will be part of the August tour. This new hub features health conscientious food with international flavours.
Caribbean's Finest lives up to its name serving up some of the best Caribbean food in the city. Don't just take our word for it, check out this review from VUE Weekly. This will be the first time Caribbean's Finest has been an Eats on 118 tour destination.
Passion de France
The evening will finish off with an Avenue favourite, Passion de France. Serving up delectable pastries, tarts and macarons, be sure to save some room for dessert!
Tickets for Eats on 118 are $47 and available now through Wild Heart Collective. $3 from each ticket sold will be donated to Spark! Youth Camp, benefiting youth 7-14 in Alberta Avenue and surrounding areas.
