The Kaleido Family Arts Festival, happening each September, is one of the most vibrant times to visit Alberta Avenue. Over two and a half days, tens of thousands of people visit the Avenue to discover art, food, and the incredible community - making many of them returning customers!
Many Alberta Avenue businesses contribute to the Festival in various ways, be it through sponsorship, volunteering, or through providing space, services and equipment, making it a true community event.
Take in the photography exhibit in Kasoa Tropical Food Market and the Youth Gallery in the Green Onion Cake Man. On Saturday, catch Byron and Alfie Myhre of Myhre’s Music perform on the Avenue Mainstage. Check out the Rhythm Speaks Hip Hop Stage run by Board President, Jonathan Rivero. Shimmy and shake at Bedouin Beats, who run a stage all weekend long. Those colourful tire art installations you see throughout the site, those have been provided by Downtown Auto.
When arts, community and business come together - magic can happen! For information on getting to the festival, parking and road closures, please visit kaleidofest.ca.
